I would love to see how they get 216" net out of that buck. Regardless, that's one of a kind.

An incredible buck. Just wow.

No way that buck nets 216". Not even on the "buckmasters" scoring.
Rough estimating...30" beams 12" 2s 9" brows and 6 total mass measurements at 7" with spread 16" gets it to 160"
And that is giving it an inch or two on each measurement...
And I am not sure that it has 60+" of added points from the trash.

If I'm not mistaken, there should always be 8 mass measurements.
4 per side regardless of how many points it is.

When I had my big 6 scored there was only an H3 taken halfway between the G2 and end of the beam.
I know you count the H1 and H2 the same if there isn't a brow point. Just double the mass between spur and G1.
Maybe you double the H3 the same way?
I would like to know because that would put mine over the 125" mark.
Although I wouldn't put any of mine in the book anyway.

I've been trying to find some supporting material, but everything that says 4 measurements per side is only on forums. (So I don't wanna use that)
I honestly do not know where they would measure, I was just always taught to take 4 mass measurements per side. I could very well be wrong!

It sounds like you've shot a great 6 point though. Any 6 point that can break 100" is a stud in my book.
Any pictures?

Molon Labe,

I just read an article on the 6 point from Oklahoma. It scored 46" in mass.

46/6 = 7.666" average
46/8 = 5.75" average

I think that based off that it supports more what you said. 6 mass measurements verse 8. I believe you are correct.
