Depends what else makes it thru to the season. Just say the others are shot up, or something. He may become the biggest and best option. Then would you still wait and give him another year? Does he then get you excited or would you consider that you settled in taking him if he was all there was left ? If your shooting for the score, and you already have bigger, I would let him go one more year, rather than have these others on the wall that you love telling the stories about and then you get to this one you took, cause he was all that was left. Let him go, let him grow, let him sow.
