Wyoming Whitetail on public?

I'm assuming the eastern part of the state it's pretty obvious for Whitetail. Are there any units you guys would recommend for peeking around public land in Whitetail country? Where I was it seems like all the whitetails were on private lands along the river bottom but I was more in Wyoming centrally located. Looking for options where I could find them on public in the eastern Wyoming. Thanks for any help. I have some mule deer info I could trade for Central Wyoming region Y.

Hey let me know if you are still looking for info on whitetails in eastern Wyoming I would definitely trade for unit Y info. I don’t know a ton but know of where you could at least look.

Hunted for WY antelope in 2017. We drove around a bit, checking out some wooded public access and had a big gnarly NT cross the road in front of us, going from private on to public. He was big enough that I started thinking about deer tags.

There are some good ones out there.
