After a bit of a long absence I'm considering dropping some $ on a Whitetail Tag for a late season hunt in North Idaho.
The last time I hunted there was 1996 while in college, and plenty has changed in the 21 years since I've been gone.
I have fond memories of hunting rutting bucks east of Moscow with college roommates during Thanksgiving break.
Hoping to recreate that up in Bonners area. Have the offer of a cabin by the border, or to day hunt from town out of my buddies house. Seems like there is more open farm ground around town that might be good if the snow is piled up. Not sure about Timber company land up there and I'd need to look at a Panhandle NF map to get an idea of Public ground options.
Am I in danger of Tags selling out?
