I reviewed Stone Glacier’s line of ultralight backpacks available exclusively from Schnee’s last week.  If you missed that post, see Stone Glacier Pack System

Schnee’s, based in Bozeman, Montana builds and stocks great backcountry gear from hunting boots & pacs, to optics, to clothing and more.  Check them out at Schnee’s.  If you get to Bozeman, be sure and stop into their flagship location in historic downtown located at 35 East Main Street or their new retail location at 1934 North 19th Avenue.

To sweeten the pot, we put up two $20 gift cards for two Rok Blog subscribers.  The internet is slow this time of year and subsequently there were some smoking draw odds for this giveaway.  Here are our winners:

Bob Crosby

Bryan Cox

These guys were interested in some elk skin gloves and Bridger boots, but their gift cards can be applied to anything at Schnee’s.

To claim you cards, just post up in the comments and send your shipping address to me at [email protected]

Thanks for playing and have a great Memorial weekend.

Robby Denning
Robby Denning started hunting mule deer in the late 1970’s, only missing one season in 35 years. At 25, he gave up the pursuit of all other big-game to focus on taking the best bucks possible. He began hunting the West on a DIY budget hunting an average of 30 days a year for mule deer. Robby loves the hunt as much as the kill and the entire process from research to scouting to hunting. He’s killed four bucks over 200 inches in the last 15 seasons, mostly on easily-obtained tags. He owns a public-land scouting service and runs a private-land outfitting business helping other hunters in their pursuit of deer and elk. Robby has scouted and hunted literally thousands of square miles of mule deer country and brings a wealth of knowledge about these experiences with him. To him, the weapon of choice is just a means-to-an-end and will hunt with bow, rifle, or muzzleloader – whatever it takes to create an opportunity to take a great mule deer. He is also the author of "Hunting Big Mule Deer" available on Amazon. Robby believes all of creation is from God for man to manage, respect, and through which to know its Creator

  1. So cool! Thank you and it is going to be a wonderful Memorial Weekend. If they can get the fire under control here on the Kenai Peninsula, I would feel a lot better. Thank you again Schenee’s and you to Robby. All have a wonderful and safe Memorial Weekend and God Bless our Vet’s.

  2. Thank you Bruce, you are right and I am having a hard time determining what to buy.
I do need those elk skin lined gloves though.
