Feels like Christmas on the Rok Blog again.  I just spent the last two hours scanning comments, subscriber lists, FB accounts, and running numbers in random.org’s random number generator.  I have the winners…

If you’re just tuning in, we like to give away great gear on the Rok Blog.  We announced these giveaways earlier this summer:

Let’s Go Deer Huntin’ (and win an Athen’s Bow)Tight Spot QuiverT-minus 15 (and win Solid Broadheads)

Looks like the Rokslide crowd is true to form and jumped right on these giveaways.  I followed the rules as posted to determine who was eligible and drew from that list.  Here we go…

1) The Athens Convixtion Bow goes to a lightning-strikes-twice kinda guy, Bruce Cooper.

2) The Tight Spot Quiver goes to long-time Rok Blog subscriber Shane Hayes of good ol’ Idaho Falls, Idaho (my hometown)

3) The Solid Broadheads courtesy of S&S Archery goes to long-time Rok Blog subscriber Eric Gobrecht

To claim your prizes, you have 10 days to email me your shipping information to [email protected]  AND post in the comments below (war-hoops, yee-haws, and woo-hoos are all acceptable).  If I don’t hear from you within 10 days, I draw again.

Thanks so much to all the sponsors who made this possible.  It is their generosity that makes all this happen.  Please consider supoorting them.  I don’t use crap-for-gear, so if it’s on the Rok Blog, it will perform and the company will stand behind it.

Thanks everyone.  Remember, you can still win the The Vortex Vulture 15×56 Binocular.  To get entered, check the post and rules here.

More exciting stuff coming up on the Rok Blog.  Make sure you’re a subscriber (top of page, right side at “Subscribe to blog”) so you don’t miss a thing.

Robby Denning
Robby Denning started hunting mule deer in the late 1970’s, only missing one season in 35 years. At 25, he gave up the pursuit of all other big-game to focus on taking the best bucks possible. He began hunting the West on a DIY budget hunting an average of 30 days a year for mule deer. Robby loves the hunt as much as the kill and the entire process from research to scouting to hunting. He’s killed four bucks over 200 inches in the last 15 seasons, mostly on easily-obtained tags. He owns a public-land scouting service and runs a private-land outfitting business helping other hunters in their pursuit of deer and elk. Robby has scouted and hunted literally thousands of square miles of mule deer country and brings a wealth of knowledge about these experiences with him. To him, the weapon of choice is just a means-to-an-end and will hunt with bow, rifle, or muzzleloader – whatever it takes to create an opportunity to take a great mule deer. He is also the author of "Hunting Big Mule Deer" available on Amazon. Robby believes all of creation is from God for man to manage, respect, and through which to know its Creator

  1. Glad I won some of Steve’s Broadheads. Bought a few things off his S&S website before but couldn’t pull the trigger on these heads. Now I get to try them out before getting some more. Thanks.

  2. Hey guys, good to hear from two of the winners. Do you all think Bruce Cooper is going to check this and claim his new killer Athens Bow? He’s got 9.5 days left on my watch. C’mon Bruce, you’re gonna die if you miss this!!!!! I’ve already drawn an alternate 🙂
