Older my kids get the more I try and include them in my hunts. Antelope hunting is something I use to do just to pass the time but now it's the hunt i look forward to the most because it's the easiest way to include my kids and they love it. Hardest thing is keeping them entertained in the blind, they forgot their coloring books so I told them to draw on the blind walls. Around 2 pm opening day my older boy was coloring on the wall and just froze, asked him if he was ok and he told me to grab my bow because a big antelope was coming, couple seconds later he walked where I could see him, My boys know when antelope come to get against the back of the blind and hold really still, while I was grabbing my bow they got in position to see. He came to the water a couple times and was super jumpy and would bolt off 20 yards or so, finally he commited and gave me a perfect 22 yard quartering away shot. He only made it about 60 yards and my boys were able to watch it all
