We had 3 buck and 3 doe tags between our group of four in an easy to draw unit in SE Colorado. We had a friend and my father along for their first pronghorn hunt. Even with some private land access, we had a tough time finding them this year, not to mention the storms that rolled through this weekend. Hard to find them when you can only see 200 yards as was at times on Sunday!
Still, we all had chances on Saturday and could have easily gone 5/6 with better shooting. I managed to get a buck on Sunday afternoon after a two hour stalk, the only one we saw the entire day on land we could hunt.
