Hey Roksliders
been lots of talk on Rokslide about this pack. We hooked our own "horn-hunter from hell", Ross Russell, with one this spring. He put the screws to it in the backcountry of Idaho and he's here with his review of the EXO 1500 Horn Hauler:

Looks like my next purchase! Thanks for the solid write up. How did the frame length feel? I'm 5'7 as well, so this was a helpful article.

Frame fits very well👍 After shed season used it to pack my two Bulls and it did very nice. For such a light frame it is remarkably comfortable.

How about the quality of the buckles? I was talking with someone who loaded a deer out with a different EXO, and the buckles broke in two places.

Packed a lot of meat in different exo packs and have never had an issue with buckles.

Very comfortable for day hunting. After using it so much shed hunting and packing bought a 3500 bag for day hunting and has enough room for my 2 night bivy gear.
