Penis Bone - what to do with it?

So I killed my 1st bear in September. I had no idea until then that bears had one of these, courtesy of my processor who convinced me to save it, which I did.
But now I really don't know what to do with it? I mean, it's cool, in a creepy and slightly disturbing sort of way.

Do you guys even save them? If so, Do you just throw them in a jar like elk ivories or can they be used for something? Carved? Any inspirational ideas out there you care to share?

Clean them up, put a clear coat on them, and set them on your bar for company to use as drink stir sticks.

I have a female biologist friend who has a very impressive baculum collection. From mink to bears and everything in between. She has them all lined up on her desk in a pretty neat collection. I finally acquired an oosik a few years ago, which is the grand daddy of them all!

I usually clean them up, bleach them as stick a bent wire in them. I tell my wife they are earrings I made for her. She's 100% unimpressed by the gesture.

I left the only one I could have taken. The thought of keeping it, or even its presence, never crossed my mind. Maybe you could have it surgically implanted in lieu of a Viagra prescription if the need ever arose? Pun definitely intended....

I boil and bleach them... them seal them and use a drink stirrers. Great conversation piece.

i lightly boiled my springer dinger bone from this year, Im going to tie a string around it and hang it from my rear view mirror in my truck. I think it will be a heck of a conversation piece
