Solo Kodiak drop hunt

Then maybe it wouldn't hurt for when I'm out hunting plus I'm sure my wife would feel better if I had it.
I'm looking at mid to late October, maybe early November. It should be cold enough that meat won't spoil right?

We had a fence around our zodiac by the water and after 4 days realized that you could grab the fence and feel absolutely nothing. Getting a good ground in that rocky shoreline was impossible. I figured the clicking sound that the fence controller made was what kept the bears away.
