I'm telling you guys this hooded ptarmigan dwr treated 850 down puffy is an amazing deal at the 215$ sale price. I haven't ever seen a jacket with these spec's any where near this price.

realunlucky I ordered one right when I got the sale email. Showed up Friday while I was hunting and got a chance to use it Saturday after stalking in on a bull in snow/rain. Messed up and was cold and hungry from the two hour stalk. Sat down and threw this on while I ate. Warmed up in 15-20 min while I ate. The fit was good as well I ordered my standard size which they tell you to do with this puffy. Looking forward to more use.

That's really nice. It's $269 now, is that the regular price? How small can it pack down to? Would this be considered a cold weather puffy jacket, or mild weather or both?

Yes 269$ is regular price. I did a write up of all the features of the ptarmigan including a video it's a sticky in the clothing section. Ultimate SKRE review check it out should answer most your questions. It's a very warm jacket with around 5 oz of down
