I had a Sitka Jetstream vest and loved it until the zipper failed.
Sent it to Sitka and they wouldn’t cover what was so obviously a defective zipper.
Their customer service rep John told me on the phone that their was no sign of abuse or excessive wear, but still they were NOT going to warranty the product.
I told him to send it back as is instead of paying the $80 they wanted to put in a new zipper.
I now have it hanging on the wall at my camp with a transcript of the conversation with him as advertising for Sitka.
Everyone who comes to my camp sees it and says two words, and they ain’t Merry Christmas.
