Whats out there?

I want to add a lightweight stretch type material to the sides of my pack.

Maybe the fishnet waterbottle holder style or something more solid. The more stretch the better. Got any ideas?

Spandura has a ton of stretch. But it is a solid, not super light, fabric. I cant think of any stretchy mesh that i have come across. Go to joanns and look at the athletic fabrics. Several with a lot of stretch. Seems like a lot of backpacks have mesh external pockets with an elastic top band.

There is also a material called Durastretch (Durastretch® Coyote-owfinc.com) that is very stretchy and somewhat light. I used it for a stretch pocket on my DIY daypack and it worked really well. I am hard on gear so I made the pocket out of a double layer of Durastretch, but I probably could have gotten away with a single layer. If you are looking for light material, this may be a good choice.

Well it would be nice but more than anything I just need a little bit of stretch for sure. Thanks for the tip.
