Wyoming type 9 with 10 points

Just to clarify, you need to look at each unit and check what's available. You can draw a Type 1 or Type 2 tag in some units and then buy the "archery stamp" and go hunt during Sept in the archery season. If you didn't kill then you could try and figure out a way to get back during the gun season in Oct or Nov and still fill your tag. Type 9 will limit you to archery season only and usually doesn't provide any better draw odds.

I'm looking at WY for next year as well and I have 9 points I believe. I'll try and draw a type 1 or 2 tag and then go hunt archery.

fyi, last year they proposed cancelling the bow option in unit 45 for a type 1 lisc but ended up changing it back and allowing it since they voted on it after people had drawn tags. Not sure what they are going to do on that issue this year so keep a close eye on the regs.
