I will say the fanatic hoody really seems good, however I haven't gotten to put my hands on it. It looks like its a heavier weight grid fleece than the R1, and if it is that would be highly disappointing. Anyone have any first hand experience with the two?

The Kuiu Mountain Fit is a nice lookin' piece. It's lightweight, and an athletic fit, but not cheap...

The PCU waffle top and Patagonia R1 have been the most used clothing pieces for the last 15 years for me. At any given moment 75% of the people I work with will be wearing one.



A few of us have been wearing the FL Klamath hoody everyday for the last two weeks. Temps have ranged from single digits to 60 degrees, in both 10-12” snow and then rain for two days.


By Friday the other two guys wearing it had ordered two or three more hoody’s each. It’s everything the R1 is with a well designed hood and long tail.
