Patagonia R1 Fleece Pants

Anyone using these as a mid/base layer. I love my R1 Hoody and considering the pants.

I haven't tried grid fleece bottoms yet, but if you want to try them out without dropping $100+ on the R1s, check out the milsurp bottoms on Sportmans Guide or elsewhere. They are also made with Polartec Powergrid, so the primary difference between those and the Patagonia's is probably just going to be cut and seam quality.
