I’d like to tell y’all that Bob Haydin is hosting the 2nd annual National Retriever derby championship on his beautiful property in Sedalia Mo. Bob owns starline brass and was a founder of Sierra. pretty stoked to have a dog running. A damn fine way to break up a real long drive.

My dog was a finalist. Didn’t win but a national finish is a big deal nonetheless good for her.

And damn that’s cool but i go to push a little further yet into that setting sun

And when that’s done, if you feeling it- try something else on - and if that gets done I promise you’ll be feeling it.

Half past dark you saddle the last load. Quarter til death you’re done and drinking that emergency airplane/hotel bottle of jack from the glove box. Its only 28 hours later when dinner is served and you pretty happy to fill your belly.

I bet that sun’ll look good rising over my Steering wheel in the morning.
