First time seeing a critter like this, what is it? Orange chested somepin r other. Maybe fisher? He likes meat.

That's definitely a pine marten. Fisher are a little bigger, darker, and have more of a "bear" looking face.

That's weird. I always thought martens ate marmots.

Yeah- pine marten. Very cool critters- they prey heavily on voles and can take game up to snowshoe hares and grouse. They'll also scavenge just about any meat they can find.
