Hello,
I’m shooting the NW Mountain challenge in Hoodoo this year and just picked up some arrows (Easton Torch 400 7.2 GPI). They are looking like they will weight in at 380 grains with a 50 grain insert. Would anyone suggest Going with a 25 grain insert and drop weight down to 355? Wondering if people run a heavier arrow for wind conditions etc.
Shooting a prime Centergy hybrid set at 61 lbs. Single pin HHA kingpin sight. I’ve chrono’d the bow before with a 380 grain arrow @ 275 FPS so I’m thinking the lighter arrow could pay off on the mountain. Thanks
