    New boots (Schnees) and gaiters. Not sure on those yet. My boots shit the bed last year, and the Beartooths are comfy so far from Schnees.

    September full moon

    Moon, shmoon! I have experienced that they are active in the next afternoon after feeding at night. Just a change in routine for me. If you are on the elk, they will be there, moon or not.

    Hands down, the best bear proof food storage container. Absolutely the lightest, and easiest to use. If you are looking at it, then you already know about it. I used it on a John Muir Trail hike where they are required. perfect working order. $250 plus shipping costs. Thanks.
