    Tested Varget, accuracy and velocity looked more promising than h4350. Will have to shoot again in better conditions the wind is blowing 25-30 here but groups still looked better than 4350 18” bbl Hornady brass Varget Fed210 62 eld vt Coal 2.635 +.030” 40.5gr 3550fps Saw an ej mark at 42gr 3644fps

    No I have it now but thank you. Pressure tested the 62vt’s this morning with Hornady brass and shot a few groups. Load was 42gr h4350 roughly +.030” jump with fed 210s. It produced an avg of 3410fps. Groups weren’t that great but ill tune it a little more before I try Varget. I get light ej...

    I hunted with a 270 wsm for awhile. 26” with 140 bergers at 3340fps. I shot out to 1000 on steel but felt like it was best for hunting at 700yds and in. 145s at 2950 will do well for plinking at 900 in mild wind and good for hunting at 600 and in IMO.     7prc next to 135 berger at 3.260” Medium vesper is good for 3.4” That should be ideal even with the 145s. I just ordered a steel Bartlein and they told me 6 months. But the wait for the carbons could be longer.
