    In that case I just forgo the top strap and use the compression straps. I really only do this when packing something out and knowing I won't need to get my rilfe out again.

    You should also check out Seek Outside packs, which you can get different sized frame extensions, max height is 28 I believe.

    All of these moves in recent days by Dick's, Walmart and now REI are not political, just business decisions. When the the majority of the public feels a certain way it wouldn't make any sense for a big business to go the opposite way.

    Never have been a member and never would be as long as dipshits like LaPierre and Loesche are representing the organization. The amount of inflammatory fear mongering they spew is turning off reasonable people. They fight for the 2A at it's peril.

    As well as other religions. See Brazil, Honduras and Panama if you are looking for Christian countries. The oft-reported idea that more religion is the answer to violent crime etc is completely false.
