I have a 6x45 and 6 arc. Both are in bolt guns with 22" barrels. Both are savages. The 6x45 has a bhw barrel and the arc is a factory savage. Bhw barrels have a reputation for speed. They're both pretty neat little rounds. The arc does get better velocity and can shoot the heavies. My 6x45... -

Finally ready for a “wall tent” style tent… Kodiak canvas 12x12?
As far as wind goes, they're pretty good. I did have mine blow down and rip 2 holes in it. I think my aluminum cot was missing the end cap and created a tear in the tent. Anyway, it was a pretty intense wind. I took it to a local canvas place and they got it back together for 60 bucks or so...- 3sdad

The only moisture i have noticed is from the rubber bottom where its seamed to the canvas and the zipper where i run the propane hose for the heater. I run am 18k btu buddy heater and it will run you out of there on high. I also have the deluxe model so i have vents on every door/wall. I just...- 3sdad

I have a 10x14 kodiak flexbow. Its great for 2 people with cots on opposite ends. 2 guys can set it up in 10 minutes. Staking it down is a must. I use a mr buddy heater and it works good. My recommendation would be getting 2 of the deluxe models. Pretty great truck camping option in my...- 3sdad

I would load 20 rounds at 56.3. 5 rounds each at 4 lengths. For a hunting rifle, I would start 15 or 20 thou shorter than mag length (lands permitting). Dont touch or jam. This shorter than mag length starting point will allow room for lot to lot variance on projectiles as well as proper... -

I have 2 tikkas and a ph2. My ctr stock feels much different than my seekins stock. I prefer the seekins stock and would like to get the bravo stock for my ctr. Tikkas are much smoother actions out of the box. In fact, my ph2 was disappointing untill i cycled it about 1000 times. All sub 3/4... -

For a basic scope and no dialing.Leupold vx3. 30mm tube. Reticle of your choice. They're simple, reliable, light, and good enough glass. They have great eye relief and sight picture. They don't sell the warranty like vortex, but they do have a good one. -
