In post 17, you shared Talley's advice where they "highly advise against lapping their rings" In post 26 you state "Yes I recommend lapping". So does Talley not have any idea what they are talking about? Are they providing bad or unreliable advice?
I have a Bartlein carbon, it shoots really well. The gunsmith that built my gun would only use Bartlein, due to problems with other carbons. His theory, Bartlein uses a larger barrel before wrapping, causing less distortion from wrapping. Based on your question, use a Bartlein if you want a good...
Oh it's way worse than that. They have only had this system of points for elk, 22 years. I have put in for that area since it's inception- 36 years I think. Everybody I know has had that tag and a few have had it twice. Then there is goat and sheep- been putting in 48 years.

If a 1911/2011 doesn't feel good in your hands, well I just don't comprehend how that happens! :ROFLMAO:

Put some Kroil or Liquid wrench etc. on the screw and let it soak. Last week I had a small one that wouldn't budge. Soaked it overnight and it came right out. Also a Bondhus hex screw driver works very well for these...
Go buy a water heater and call me. In 30 minutes I will talk you through it. I have changed 10 of them and I am not a plummer. All this talk of crap in your lines etc. is nonsense. Make sure the vent/gas line/water hookups look like the old one and done. The hardest part is hauling the heavy old...
My "exhibit A" would be Leupold- LOTS of negative ink spilled on them, and they are still selling a lot of scopes. And there are many more examples out there.
I agree that these companies need to do a lot better job. But I like to see these nonbiased reviews that Form does. It should cause...
