Will there be an elk season with coronavirus

I think we will still have hunting season happening this year. At worst, some states might cut off non resident hunters.

How do you spend your time between morning/night hunts?

I’ve never understood going back to camp to hang out. It would be such a waste of time and energy getting out of where I just hiked into and then to have to do it a second time would be insane. I like to slow down and start glassing. I usually take a nap and refuel. I always hope to at least...

3-7 miles a day isn’t enough in my opinion. I was doing 8-12 miles per day and eventually kept finding elk. I didn’t think anything was there at first.

I’ll reiterate what others have said. Holy crap there are a ton of vehicles driving around but I didn’t see a soul out hiking. Just typical road hunters driving around all day. Once I realized that they weren’t hiking I was actually glad and had some pretty good hunting back off the roads.
