I would say the Vortex if you care about warranty for the long term...I have never touched a pair of Maven's, but as a few other threads most other companies have a term limit on electronics...

I compared the 10x36 vs the DB Hd 8x32 when I was at Cabela's recently. The monocular is not really great for focusing I would say it is hard and I was in the store with no gloves on, the knob I feel is not in a very ergonomic place but this may not matter if you can just set it and forget it. I...
It should be the date of sale, and if you cannot produce a receipt then they would default to MFG date...I guess it would be worse if it sat on the shelf for 3yrs before you bought it and then could not produce the receipt...
20% off MAP I assume is just the regular store price...sad

This was the reason I brought this up in a different thread, but Vortex is the only company that I have found that warranty's all of their products for life optical or electronic clearly from their support pages...
I understand others may be better or offer more features, but I am worried about...
I was looking at Vortex, but from my research it appears they are the only company to state they fully warranty electronics for life... everyone else has a term that seems kind of short, even though they may assist like Leupold above, they may not at the same time or after.

Hmm, not sure if you let them know the possible issue or question if they should not be the same... But to match the info you found...I saw 315' @ 1000yds from:

Nothing like typos, I am sure they could get you an answer pretty quick if you gave them a call, they have helped me by phone and email in pretty short times each time I have reached out. And the last time they went above and beyond by email by replacing a part that I didn't get since I bought...
I got a pair of bx4s recently and they are decent. They make a 10x32 if you wanted to check out...

Man for the price of entry I would never thought one would need to sell themselves to like something... I also do think "fit" is a thing, I was looking at some Zeiss Conquest that I found open box but I was forcing myself to like them for the price... But luckily they sold, I went with a pair of...

I would lean with fatrascal, do you have a good idea of what increase in power do you need...or would benefit you the most. I say if you like your binos, then I would add a spotting scope, like you said more tools in the box is always better... Being at this forum and listening to my father...
Maybe vibra-tite purple label, as it is supposed to never harden. In case you want to be able to swap plates with out worrying about destroying anything...

Just curious how long have you had your optics? I thought they had a 5 year coverall. Then it was optics quality only after for life... Maybe I am remembering that incorrectly...
