    I didn’t even know you could do that, and without it being labeled, I couldn’t find Croatia on a map. Sounds awesome. How big do bears get there and what will the hunt be like? Spot and stalk, or over bait? You stay in a hotel and drive out each morning?

    Taken in BC last year. Just over 6’ square. This bear appeared much older when he was on the ground, compared to the bear I got in ‘22. He was skinnier, skin seemed baggy, not much fat on him and coat was not as nice. The rug tells the same story. Still looks really cool, but obviously thinner...

    Well said. Big game guides say the see more misses or bad shots on bear than anything else. Study bear anatomy before the hunt.

    Yeah. You don’t need a massive cooler. Once the hide is off, they are much smaller than you think. If you’re just keeping quarters, an average sized family cooler works fine.

    You can also use a sharp stick. Just poke them right in the eye. Potentially up their nose, but I haven’t tried it myself.

    I do the same, works well. Last year, I sprayed my clothes outside, hung them on a clothes rack, and set it on the front porch to dry. Then noticed how sunny it was in the yard so I moved the rack out into the sun. A little while later the wife and teenage daughter came home. Daughter storms...
