I picked up an adirondack in .308 weighs 4.10lbs. I was looking for one in 7-08 but got a deal mine went that direction, glad i did shoots great and so far eats everything I've fed it.
I really like them. Wasn't a fan of that style mount until I bought my adirondack and they came with it. They seem really solid so far and have a great fit and finish.

So I have a side question. It's roughly the same price to buy an adirondack. Would there be any positives or negatives on the adorondack vs. Montana with a shortened barrel?

Hi All, I live in SE Ak so my choice on gunsmiths are extremely low. I am looking at getting a kimber Montana in 7-08 and want to cut the barrel down to 20". Who do you guys recommend? Thanks

I have an adirondack question I was on eurooptic and noticed the 2016 barrels are 1-10 vs older 1-12. What's the difference weight bullets you can shoot? Thanks
