Guide tip on a elk hunt
So if I go on a hunt with 3 other guys and we pay the guide service 5K each we should tip the field guide 2K? That's a lot of cha-ching and it shows me how far off I am from affording a guided elk hunt. Travel+ license+ outfitter+ misc+++ I know four guys who paid 25K plus license and travel... -

WTS KUIU ICON PRO 5200 with L/XL frame $375.00
. Lightly used Icon Pro complete with L/XL suspension and frame, pack and lid, two belt pouches, extra lumbar and straps. Note the snag on the inside of the shoulder strap. That is the only flaw I can find. I am 6'2" and there is a lot of room to go taller with this. Not a lot of room to go...- Brillo

Favorite Dry Bag
I don't use a dry bag because the ones I have used or owned do not carry well and that is critical on my trips due to portages. Instead I use high quality packs like Cookes and line them with contractor bags. I also use a barrel with a harness and an insulated pack for food,- Brillo
