CZ 612- to buy or not to buy
I’m looking to get into waterfowl, Turkey, and small game hunting to supplement the times that I can’t hunt. I am looking for a 12 gauge, budget conscious, that I can use for all 3, and I keep coming to the CZ 612 magnum waterfowl. Does anyone have any experience with this gun good bad or otherwise?- BryGuy

deer scents/attractants?
I know I’m late on this one but last year I made mock scrapes and pee in them myself, shot two mature bucks checking the scrapes, and saw two other mature guys coming in to check. Bad Shot
I shot this buck last year first day of rifle. Granted he was in the middle of rut but had a nasty wound from what I decided was an arrow that pierced bottom center of both lungs weeks prior. How far can you judge yardarge accurately?
I can estimate accurately enough for archery out to about 35-40 yards, depending on the terrain. Spending time above tree line has made me realize how much you need things like trees and other stuff for scale to accurately judge distance. Sitting in a tree stand I’ve always had known landmarks...- BryGuy

Kuiu Pro Pack
I’m 6’, 175 and I wear a tall frame and the s/m suspension. It works well for me, I’m pretty slim and the kuiu works really well for that. My heaviest load so far was 120lbs and it was rough but not because of the pack. -
