    6.5 Creed Deer load

Lots of good stuff here. I'll probably load up a few different ones and see what shoots the best out of the new rifle. Glad to hear everyone has had good success.

    6.5 Creed Deer load

I use Ballistic Tips in my 300 Blackout and I've used them in 308 win. They usually shoot lights out, just havent had any opportunities to hit any game with those. (Coincidentally, it may be hard to believe but my smallest group ever shot at 100 yards with a Ruger Ranch 300 blk using Nosler...

Moose hunt 2023: A father & son adventure

That is absolutely amazing. I truly wish my own father and I were able to make it up there to do a hunt. One day, hopefully. But those photographs and that scenery, man that's awesome.

    6.5 Creed Deer load

I've resisted the 6.5 Creedmore trend forever only because it was just one more round that did what I've already got. However, I won one at a Ducks Unlimited event. It's nice and I am going to keep it to use as a backup deer rifle. So, question: what is the go to deer load? I've got access to...

    Which Weatherby Rifle

Sorry, all that was to say I think you're likely good with any of those rifles, but given the original question I'd be leaning toward the Mark V hunter. (Probably in the 6.5 PRC too)

    Which Weatherby Rifle

I have a Mark V and it is awesome. I won it at a DU auction, chambered in 6.5-300. It kicks pretty serious. I am actually contemplating another Mark V in a more standard caliber, which I think will better suit my normal hunting needs (Close shots on southern whitetails). But I do have two...

    New Documentary from Ken Burns

I've found several of the Meateater episodes really informative and interesting. Thanks for the heads up on this one though. I need to go check it out. Not long ago they had an Archaeologist on talking about searching for evidence from the Coronado Expidition. I knew nothing about Coronado etc...

    30-06 with 168gr TTSX and Accurate 4064?

When I first started reloading years ago I started with H4895. It seemed to be the easiest to find at that time and seemed to work great for my 150gr loads.

    30-06 with 168gr TTSX and Accurate 4064?

I haven't seen any local. I'd have to search online, but thanks for the tip!

    30-06 with 168gr TTSX and Accurate 4064?

That's pretty great. I've never used the 130's. Granted I've used 110, 120, 150, 165, and 168's in the past - all with great success. I didn't go w/ the 130's because I'm thinking a little larger for possible bear hunts, even though I know that it would probably be a good round for black bears...

    30-06 with 168gr TTSX and Accurate 4064?

I did see some IMR 4064 available online. That may be an option too! Yep. I saw it in the "Western Powders Handloading guide v8.0 that's linked on the Accurate site. That was actually the reason I was considering it. Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to keep reading and see what else is...

    30-06 with 168gr TTSX and Accurate 4064?

Hello everyone! First Post on this forum. I am looking to develop a new load for my new 30-06. As so many folks have experienced, I just cannot find many powders that are listed in the Barnes load data sheets or my books. I did find a few pounds of Accurate 4064, which a local gun shop insists...
