You can push the 210's a lot faster out of that round, when that caliber was being tested it was shot at the Fort Benning sniper competition it was shot at 3300fps. Ive shot mine over that but it fouls fast doing so, but for a hunting gun who cares.
You'll get the same speed Mike. Al's got some N570,n165, and ramshot mag I gave him a while back, I got 24# of r33 I'm going to start testing in the 338NM. Use winchester mag primers if u have them with he ramshot powder. The n570 save for the longer barrels.
That was from back in the day before cheytac went under. I've played with a bunch of experimental bullets much larger caliber than what were talking here, most radical needed barrel exit twists of 5.5 which started at 13 twist.
You can push them faster than that if you need to with a 28" barrel. If you run the norma and the lapua at cip the noma will push a 300 grain faster. I feel the 300 NM is a better option out to a mile but after that the 338 NM takes over, and after that the big guns come out if I need to hit...
