I didn’t weigh it but less than half a lb. the hatch out west bipod is a pound heavier than my old one so that’s where most of my weight comes from, but in my mind the versatility is worth the weight penalty.

as a nonresident in every western state (I'm from Ohio) tags are getting more expensive and harder to draw I hate to see this stuff happen but thats why i play every draw i can afford to, there are still lots of opportunities out there
I left my pack behind a couple of times my first year hunting out west and would end up waisting a bunch of time going back to look for it so now it rarely leaves my side
there are some easy to draw options in wyoming, look at some units with later season dates those are much easier to draw. some units also have walk in access on private land that can hold good amounts of antelope
