    2 lost elk and conclusions.

    270 Win with 124 grain hammer bullet….. full pass through. 360 yard shot. Substantial blood trail. Zoom in to first image to see more blood. Second image shows exit wound.

    Any advice for CO Unit 66 third season?

    Unless there is a drastic change in the weather, I would start at high elevation and work your way down if necessary. Most hunters will probably be at lower elevations near the roads.
