I ran across an older WTS post of your for a D'Arcy Echols scope mounting tool.

Are you still looking to sell it? I'm interested in buying if so.
Chris.
I think this is the one; F-Stop Gear. Their offerings look a bit different than when I was shopping last. https://shop.fstopgear.com/other-products/internal-camera-units-and-camera-inserts/
I was going to suggest hauling an appropriate sized Pelican strapped to the outside (or inside of your...
If you're having trouble uploading photos direct to the rokslide page, you might try uploading to a photo hosting site (such as imgur) first then using the board code to point to the hosting site. (I see you)
I did the camofire deal; Three stealthcam BT12's for $118 ($135 delivered = $45ea). I can't say that they're the best cheap cams, but they do work. I think trigger speed might be lacking a bit, the menu takes some figuring (RTFM as they say). But video is clear (no date stamp), stills are...
Didn't revisit this thread for a while, but see the great suggestions on troubleshooting my squeek. Addendum: My squeek went away on it's own. But if it comes back I have a few things in my bag of tricks now. I'm just back from an Axis hunt and ended up packing out four animals over the...
I'm using a memory card adapter. It lets me view photos on site and make realtime decisions whether on animals in the area, and on positioning of the cams.
I had the same problems ya'll did (avi's don't view on the iphone and date/time don't show on video). As mentioned above, a third party video player like VLC will play the avi's on a desktop. VLC also makes a mobile app (which I haven't tried). I bought a cheap SD card reader for the phone...
...apparently these lenses are know for vignetting;

This is not about the kit lens and is a little surprising on what I would guess is part of their premium line (f2.8)...
I've got first hand experience with both brands. SO is an Evolution. Kuiu was a first Gen. I was attracted to the light weight and load carrying capabilities. Kuiu was light and comfortable. I only packed game out once with the Kuiu but have put on many miles of training hikes including a...
I shoot mostly still, so I'll offer my insights from that perspective since you're shooting with a mirrorless camera. Vignetting is a byproduct of lens and sensor mismatch. Some of the simple ways you can minimize it in your setup is a) don't shoot so wide. If you're seeing it at 16mm...
