Im a little late. But took a class, shot the school rifle, which was a 22 creedmore. Im not a great shooter, but i was hitting 1000 yds by Day 2. Jamie is very credible gunsmith and a great guy. Veteran-owned. Theres a good youtube about his patented ACE system.
thanks again guys... 1. im going to practice... a lot more.. classes that emphasize fundamentals as well as field conditions... 2. emphasizing utilizing stuff i ll already have, like my pack, trekking poles... may bring my phoenix TBD (works as butt pad and pillow) either. Other options...
thanks all for the great feedback! will be taking a class or two before I go, and going to try out all of my tools, emphasizing light weight and dual purpose.... you guys are awesome
im not a sheep hunter, lol.. just a weekend warrior who tries to get out into the woods. and im consolidating a few hunts into one so that i can at least try before i gett too old to try.
but much appreciated.. i was contemplating taking some kind of rear support bag not unlike what you...

Hi all. I have an upcoming sheep hunt in over a years time and I need some lightweight shooting rest setup opinions. It ll require some long trekking on foot so a tripod is probably not in the cards, unless you guys convince me otherwise.
So far, Ive invested in Phoenix’s tony bag o donuts...
I sent an email to the company with some questions and got a call from the owner himself lol. Great guy to chat with. Nice family owned USA made product. You wont get many discounts. Not to say they dont do them. I dont really Need the M1 given my smaller yard, but its clearly nicer! And if...
any thoughts on M1 vs M2 target. M1 hexagonal is obviously nice, but costs a lot more :p. and i doubt they ll go on sale with an endorsement from that Joe Rogan fella!
I actually had the LPP for 3rd rifle in CO last year. It did the job but was just warm enough but not exactly toasty. I ve switched it out for the WS. Nothing wrong with the LPP. Its solid. I just wanted warmer. I think the WS might be more water repellant as well. Both aren’t superpackable.
I just picked up the Kelvin WS jacket. Last CO 3rd rifle was a bit cold for me. Since its a hybrid (primaloft + down) how do you think it d hold up in wet conditions?
