    I bought the Ferrosi pants years ago....and I just recently ordered 2 pairs of equinox to try. As far as comfort....I would have to give the nod to the Ferrosi. The Equinox are fine...nothing wrong with them..but I actually like the Ferrosi better.

    I love my ferrosi pants. I also just received 2 pair of equinox pants. They have some stretch, but not as much as the Ferrosi. The equinox are also slightly thinner.

    Waterproof glove

    Get a pair of gloves with Outdry waterproof/breathable membrain. Mountain Hardwear used to have Outdry gloves...I think Columbia still has them. Kuiu was using Outdry at one time. It is way better than Gore tex. The outer material doesn't "wet out" and saturated.

    Nomad Gear

    I recently bought the Nomad Dunn 2.0 Primaloft jacket and pants at Gabes for dirt cheap. Very nice stuff. jacket was $49 and pants were $39. Retail was close to $450.....I'm pretty stoked.

    Why won't they put pit zips on their "quiet outer" rain gear? (Thunderhead and Downpour) I refuse to buy them until they add pit zips.

    Wrangler outdoor pants

    Bought another pair for $13 yesterday. .I went to another local walmart, and they had a new "sage green" type of color...paid $21 for them though.
