    Benelli super black eagle problems

Sorry to hear of your troubles - mine is approaching 25,000 rounds with zero issues. The more I shoot it the smoother it cycles; all fall chasing ducks and then chews up 1oz clay loads all summer. Best of luck with it.

Most expensive piece of gear you've lost on a hunt?

Does an entire cooler of gear shipped via UPS count? Lost that this year after 3rd rifle

UPS lost cooler with $1000 of my gear inside

Coolers were Sharpied on the outside with address. Label was affixed to cooler with clear tape and then the edge of said tape was wrapped profusely with duct tape. After that duct tape was wrapped all the way around the cooler using about half a rolls worth. Hillbilly looking for sure. Not...

UPS lost cooler with $1000 of my gear inside

Friend is more than willing to pay and feels terrible - I just don't want to go that route. Also not going to waste time or effort with a lawyer. The most infuriating part is the cavalier attitude I have received thus far from UPS. At the end of the day if this is the worst to ever happen to me...

UPS lost cooler with $1000 of my gear inside

Thanks for the suggestions. Am currently talking with police and have asked for about the cameras. The two coolers - while shipped back to me at same time - had separate tracking numbers. The one that arrived had 15 scans between Colorado and Ohio. The one that is missing shows the label was...

UPS lost cooler with $1000 of my gear inside

Hello all - looking to see if you have any ideas that I have not done yet... Third season rifle I shipped my sons gear as well as my own to a friend in CO via UPS. Gear was packed and sealed in two big coolers (much cheaper than airline baggage fees). They got as they were supposed to so all we...

300 win mag ammo for elk

Enjoy the process of finding out which bullet your rifle prefers; good excuse to buy a few brands and see for yourself which is best. For my 300 I prefer 180TTSX...after the first fouling round they are consistently 3/4MOA out to 450 yards (that is all the further my range goes).

    What’s the hardest to kill?

IMO it is a whitetail...I live in and around big whitetails and have never seen one that legitimately sniffed the 200" mark. I have been blessed with seven in the 150-180" mark but one touching 200" is a different animal. That being said if I could only ever shoot one more big animal in my...

Mountain Lion Attack Stopped by my Daughter in CO...real close call!

With all of the garbage in the news today it is incredibly refreshing to see that kids like this young lady are out there. It is one thing to know what to do in a circumstance such as this but it takes a special individual to actually execute it to perfection as she did. Dreamer - from one dad...

    NM hunt recap

Great write up man! My first solo was also in NM and was probably a turning point in me as a hunter. Your comment about the mental part being tougher than the physical is the same way I felt. Congratulations on both your bull and the journey to get there.

    Thank you WY

Thanks for the write up - great story. Most of us have probably felt the same emotions, questioned our sanity, and before the sweat has dried began planning our next adventure.

Anyone changing plans based on water?

Headed to SW Colorado for 3rd season; same area I have hunted a couple of times before so I know it fairly well. Lack of precipitation this year has me concerned as I think two of my three reliable water sources will be dry. I really hope that is not the case as there will be a significant loss...
