I agree . It's hard to say if we were going to get sued again, but the spotlight shining down on us certainly brought it to the front.
I actually got out this last winter and put some effort in hunting them. There was a couple other guys that were hunting the same area I was, except they were up...
Their compromise going into reintroduction is knowing that wolf population can increase by 30 percent every year. Once they can get a couple of packs going, there is no way on God's green earth that hunters can even come close to matching that 30 percent in harvesting them. Trapping is by far...
No matter how you refer to wolves, pro wolf folks don't want to compromise . 30 years of history from Idaho, Wyoming and Montana should show you that. There. Is. No. Compromising. With. These. Groups.
Has anyone else seen this? Is it a bogus scare tactic, coincidence or just plain fake news?

I'd like to see another segment on CWD with @robby denning and Toby from IFG . The new Idaho regs are out and they have added units to the mandatory testing and to the transport list.
It would be interesting to have something on out-west necessities. Things that we absolutely need to be...
If you are close to Emmett or the Boise area, drop me a PM and I'd be happy to lend some help packing an elk out next time. I'm not real bright but have a strong back and don't mind taking orders.:)
Idaho has OTC for residents. Some zones are controlled hunt only, some are capped . Zones that are OTC typically have A tags (primarily archery hunts) and B tags (any weapon hunts).
Exactly. It wouldn’t matter if there were 60k wolves in Idaho and Montana. It will never be enough because it isn’t about the animals. It’s the power and leverage to remove humans from any sort of game management. If they don’t get their way with wolves, it’ll be grizzlies and wolverines.

Jerry and Ed were both super guys. I had the opportunity to hunt turkeys with Ed and Gov. Andrus when I was in high school. I had a 280AI that Ed built for me, wished I hadn't have sold that! The store in downtown Meridian was a staple.
That’s where we parked too. I don’t mind hoofing it if it means I can get in and out of somewhere easy enough. Now that there is one close, I can shop online and pick up at the front of the store.
