Imo Always spend money on ammo
But you don’t need to stockpile crazy amounts you won’t actually use.
That’s how we get clockwork shortages, shooters constantly freak out and buy all the supply and then fulfill their own prophecy
the only failure I’ve had from my comp gun (tikka) is the ejector getting stuck from a brass shaving. Theretically a mechanical ejector fixes that
So did me backing down my load a grain tho
Hmmm I’d probably look at different metrics on pewscience to try to find what would work for you.
I’ll say I have found finding a can that both supresses really well on a bolt gun and has low back pressure on a gas gun to be extremely hard. My new enticer l ti is very quiet, very light, but...
Are they doing anything to address the bolt binding and having to finger bang it a million times to make it smooth out enough to use? I know that’s technically not feeding, but it’s an important part of feeding in a rushed imperfect situation
It’s less about I could just shoot blackhills as it is I want cheaper practice ammo that has more consistent dope, the imi is loaded pretty hot more like blackhills I think
If anyone has shot the norma over a chrono I’d love to know what they are seeing, I’ve read some posts that it’s a bit slower than blackhills/imi and I’m trying to decide what to buy for my next case.
