Elk .243 or 25-06

You could kill an elk with a .22 with proper shot placement. That’s not really the point. Things do not always go as planned and margin of error is what matters. There is no margin for error with a .243 and an 80 grain bullet.

Anyone have a Ruger M77 with Zeiss V4 6-24x50? Rings height help please

I know this is an old post, but for others the Ruger factory medium rings will work for a Zeiss Conquest 44mm. High rings for 50mm. Ruger scope ring chart.
