The DE rifle is right under the 16lb Idaho limit for hunting... I haven't weighed the carbon barreled but its probably 12-13lbs Hard to shave allot of weight when you are maximizing calibers with 30 inch barrels... Also the Arkin Scope is extra heavy... The carbon barrel rifle feels...- dgarrett
