I'm planning on setting up a lower recoil rifle for long range big game hunting (would like to have the option to kill out to as close to 800 yards as possible) to be used on whitetail, mule deer and elk. The plan would be to use factory ammo and to dial for long range shots. I liked the idea of...
I read a comment on the instagram post about the Rokstock mentioning that cleaning the barrel could be an issue due to the high butt. Would a traditional cleaning rod not fit through the barrel for cleaning, and if so, is there are solution for this?
Would it be an option to add a QD cup at the rear instead of a sling stud? I carried a rifle this year with the QD cups on the side of the stock and it felt a bit awkward compared to standard sling mounting location.
I have a few questions on the stock I was hoping to get feedback on:
Will the stock come with an option for an integrated picattiny rail for a bipod?
What will be the material and expected weight of the stock?
Will the stock be drop in ready for remington 700 clones or will bedding be required?
I am considering using a Kelbly Atlas Lite for an upcoming 7PRC build, however, the action does not come with an integrated picatinny rail. Does anyone have any experience on whether the Hawkins Precision Direct Mount Rings that are recommended or the Standard Atlas Rail (which can be connected)...
I saw biggest buck so far this afternoon. Mature 2 point with eye guards probably 24” wide but I just couldn’t do it. Was in BLM west of Tracy Canyon. Hopefully can find a bigger one tomorrow.
Shit man. Sorry to hear that. I saw about 70 deer this morning in 681 including about 40 together but all does except 2 tiny bucks. Trying out your suggested BLM area tonight.
