    Ive had my 884 side by side to an atx65 and can honestly say the 884 resolved more detail on a building over 4 miles away but it was very close and that was during full daylight so the objective size would have little effect on it.

    Load up your pack with 80+ pounds and go for a test loop with shoes and see how it goes for you. I know for my feet im pretty happy with shoes or light hikers up to about 35, but id never want to be out hunting and have to pack something out in them.

    Kifaru belt wearing out?

    Sometimes a good wash can help re-fresh the foam but over time and with lots of use it will break down and saturate with sweat and lose its ‘loft’. Id give them a call but you could be due for a fresh set of straps or even just a new foam lumbar insert.

    If you put a wanted add on here and on Kifaru insiders on FB theres a very good chance somebody has a bane, guide lid, or native theyd be looking to sell. They no longer make the native but that would also be a good option for what youre looking for.
