    3/4 ton truck gas mileage?

    My 2016 Ram 2500 gets right at 18 on the highway and I can get 20 if I drive about 65. My work truck is a 3500 duramax and it regularly does 22-24 going down the highway.

    6.5 for elk

    I’ve killed 3 elk with the 6.5 140gr partition, 1 with a 6.5x55 and 2 with a 256 Newton and I’d not hesitate to use either one again. I think the 140 partition is a bullet worth building a rifle around.

    Rifle barrel burnout question?

    Anybody have any thoughts as to weather case design plays a role in barrel life? A good example would be a 243 win compared to a 243 AI. I’ve read that the sharper shoulder angle of the AI case will direct more of the hot gas to the inside of the case neck instead of the throat.

    Headwaters is located in Three Forks, not Bigfork. I have the headwaters on both the front and back seats in my truck and love them.
