    50 Cal Elk Bullet

I shoot the No Excuses 50 cal 460gr bullet. They shoot great, and have great weight retention. I have shot 5 elk with them, one bull went about 40 yards, the other elk went less than that. I used to shoot 295 gr power belts…I shot a cow with them, and never found her.

    Powerbelt bullets experience

I have also had poor weight retention with powerbelts. I shoot a “ No excuses” bullet now and have very high weight retention.

    Anyone own a Subaru?

The main point of my post was to draw attention to the fact that there are companies out there that are financially supporting organizations that are fighting to take away the activities that we all like to do, ie. hunting, fishing and trapping. Organizations like the HSUS, ASPCA, PETA are...

    Anyone own a Subaru?

I’ve never really thought too much about this before, but saw a tv commercial the other day from Subaru stating they are the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA. That got me thinking…The ASPCA is similar to other animal ‘rights’ companies like the HSUS, PETA, etc… All of which are strongly...

    Idaho Unit 4

As BAKPAKR said, get a wolf tag, reduced bear tag, and a lion tag. It would be good of you to consider joining the “ Foundation for Wildlife Management” too! Your membership fee goes towards keeping the wolf population in check, for folks that like to hunt big game here in Idaho.

    Muzzleloader Bullet Diameter Help

My knight likes 80grains of 777 with the 460gr No Excuses .503 Dia. I get about a 3” group at 100 yards with open sights.

    Limitless Outdoors-mule deer

To be clear, my post was not questioning if LO is being compensated by YouTube. But, to address your point, just because a person is affiliated with a 501C3, does not mean that they do not draw a salary. There are lots of 501C3’s that have regular full time employees eg. “Rocky Mt elk...

    Limitless Outdoors-mule deer

I like their videos, but I find it ironic that they are spreading the word of god all while filming in a wilderness area, which is illegal and lawless which is considered a sin.

Pac boots or Not Late season Mountain hunting

I have a pair of Schnees hunter 2’s. I’ve had them for about 10 years. There was little to no break in for them when they were new and are still going strong! The downside to insulated boots without a removable liner is they will take forever to dry out in a tent.

10", 12" or 14" Pac Boots: Help Guide Me

I second the Schnees hunter 2 in a 13”. They are comfortable all day long and even if the snow is deeper than the boots, hardly any snow goes down the boot.
