    I second the archery drop camp recommendation. Especially if you’re solo. You’ll be able to pick practically anywhere in CO to hunt with an OTC archery tag. You won’t be able to draw a muzzy tag for very many places w/o pts.

    I run an ED 50 and Monarch 7 8X30s (which weigh 15 oz). Use both of them on the vortex SSP tripod. Completely agree about weight being one of the most critical factors.

    I have this too. Still had issues with ignition. Drilled out the flash channel wider which helps. When I'm at the range, I only clean with patches and no solvent. I also fire a primer between shots as the flash channel gets dirty even w/o using any solvent or lube.

    This is good advice. CVA also makes a compact version of the wolf which has a 1" shorter stock and therefore LOP.

    I've shot two deer with 300 grain THOR bullets and one elk with 350 grain Hornady FPB (because I forgot to order more Thors in time). All with 110 grains BH209. All three DRT. No pass through on any of them.

    I feel really confident at the range with the front fine crosshair but I agree it is hard to see them in low contrast situations. Probably switching to a different insert.
