Thats a slick ride. I mobbed around in a 98 forester for years. My brother and i took it elk hunting one year up this shitty mud road and hunted for the day. Came back and some guy in a big ol jacked up truck gave us a look like "how the hell..." Priceless.
Does that have the 2.5 or 2.2 in it?
I had the great idea of chopping up my deer antler and selling them as dog chews. I only sold on Facebook and Craigslist and the market was hot for a year or two. But, it has since dried up since everyone and their brother is doing it now. Made good money while it lasted though.
Weight of the tripod alone comes in at 1 lb 7 oz on my scale. Max height comes in at 58". The twist lock system is alright, it will suffice. Its like the old vortex tripod system. I havent had it out enough to test durability but i dont really see any issues.
I havent been able to get out and use it much yet. I will say its a big upgrade from the AOKA. It is tall enough that you can glass with a spotting scope standing. The AT10 fluid head is less than ideal. I paired this tripid with a tricer pan head. Its stupid light, something like 1 lb and 8 oz...
So my wife just recently expressed interest in shooting bow. She doesn't have any desire to hunt with it, more of a hobby (at this point, hopefully. Does anyone out there have a women's/low draw weight setup they are looking to get rid of? Thanks!
