I've not followed the 6.5 PRC brass issue for a while so I don't know if they have figured out the resizing issues with it? You should not be having any issues at all after the first firing. A stuck case is a lube issue. Redding makes some very nice dies.
The issue usually happens after a...
Sorry left the classifieds part out of it. As written I do see your point.
It should have read like this. It would be nice to have sub forum for reloading in the classifieds.
I haven't read this whole thread so if this has been mentioned already, please forgive me.
Some people buy a few packs they think they might like. Load them up and take them for a spin.
Then you keep the one you want and return the others.
You'll be out quite a bit of money at first but...
It would be nice to have sub forum for reloading. We could post some links to sites that have Components/Powder in stock to help us out. It's really hard to find reloading components and I think this would really help everyone here.
50. cal Knight Disc Extreme with Williams sight and both the Idaho legal western ignition and 209 ignition setups. Face to Face transactions will include some 777 powder and I have some additional 777 that can be negotiated into the deal.
Everything shown in picture is included. If you want...
The Knight Disc Extreme is considered an open breech per Knight and Idaho F&G when I called to verify.
I have both the 209 and western ignition setup for mine.
That's some smokin' velocity with the 180g bullets. When I shot RL22 with the 180 AB the speed was right at what you are seeing at 75g.
My barrel throat isn't anywhere near that deep. I'm at 3.62 to the lands. I load to 3.505"
What reamer did they use on that barrel?
Those 190g CX's are pretty long. I'm shooting the 200g ELD-X right now and I'm crunching powder at a C.O.A.L of 3.505" I'm curious to hear from those who shoot the ELD-X how these bullets perform.
I sure like the way they expand at 3400 fps. At longer ranges not so much.
Buy a 300 Win Mag instead. If you want to shoot heavier , better BC bullets ditch the short case and go with the longer one. There's nothing the 300 wsm does better than it's big brother.
